THE END OF LINE BEARS THE BMR BRAND IN SOUTH AMERICA

South America confirms its predilection for BMR and for made in Italy technology in the field of finishing and end of line for the ceramic sector.

The evolution towards the latest generation technologies that combine automation, digitization and eco-sustainable responsibility, has been appreciated by the local market; Top Squadra Dry, for the dry squaring of porcelain stoneware even in large sizes; the new Supershine super dry polisher; grinding and treatment solutions: these are some of the proposals for which the important added value identified in the high quality end product has been confirmed, in an increase in production speed, in savings monetarily and in environmental resources.

In fact, in Brazil, three major tile players have chosen the Scandiano company to implement their production plants and add value to their collections.

Villagres, a Brazilian group consolidated in the production of porcelain stoneware solutions, has chosen a BMR lapping line including two Leviga, in a 10 + 10 solution, and a Supershine 1200×1200. A supply that responds to the evolutionary vision of Villagres, committed to implementing its range with a plant dedicated to large sizes. The goal is to offer its customers new design opportunities, also thanks to the use of latest generation treatment solutions, represented by the exclusive Supershine treatment.

A lapping line was also installed at Duratex, an important Brazilian group active in the building materials sector through numerous brands. Consisting of a Leviga 10 + 10 and a Top Coat 1200×1200, the line aims to be a decisive investment to strengthen its position in the ceramic sector and acquire new competitiveness vis-à-vis the main local producers.

Eliane, on the other hand, opted for a latest generation squaring line consisting of a Top Squadra Dry 12/1 for sizes up to 1200×1200. Eliane, who joined the Global Ceramics division of the American giant Mohawk Industries in 2018, looks on the porcelain stoneware tile sector with innovation, combining all BMR’s dry technology with the squaring process, guaranteeing excellent performance and the best safeguards in terms of environmental impact.

These are important references for BMR, also achieved thanks to an internationalization policy that combines the affirmation of a made in Italy know-how with a widespread presence in the main world markets, to offer prompt and highly effective advice.

In fact, BMR Brasil, the branch based in Rio Claro (in the state of Sao Paulo – Brazil) was recently inaugurated: under the guidance of Alberto Ferlini, BMR area manager for Brazil, agent Adriano Furtado and the technical service manager Eriel Umbelino, BMR Brasil sets itself up as a reference point for the Brazilian market.

The branch boasts a conveniently easy-to-reach structure, in a strategic position for the local market and with the availability of a warehouse equipped with all the necessary spare parts: these features allow customer needs to be met and to guarantee a quick and on-time 24-hour technical service, confirming BMR as a technological and strategic partner for the most important production companies in South America.
