BMR consolidates its leadership in the finishing process

Scandiano, December – A year full of innovation and strategic developments for BMR comes to an end.

Numerous factors at stake have allowed Scandiano’s entrepreneurial reality to meet the increasingly stringent and far-sighted demands of a market that has to contend with new downturn inputs.

For a long time now, BMR has been pursuing a company philosophy oriented towards custom design, offering “tailor-made systems” for finishing that are increasingly closer to the customer and that are the essential components of modern production lines.

In this way, for BMR the tile manufacturer is transformed from customer to collaborator and works side by side with the company to build an increasingly dynamic, sustainable, digital and efficient factory.

Following these principles of development, the company led by Paolo Sassi has exploited all its know-how to demonstrate how dry squaring can be further evolved for the purpose of an improved process in functional terms and of remote control.

Tecnargilla 2018 was the occasion to formalize the new frontier of the finishing process that involves in an important way the automation and motorization mechanisms with the aim of making the manufacturing process more and more digital.

Through the installation of motorized spindles and “smart” cameras, the dry squaring machine, which is also dedicated to large sizes, ensures precise and reliable position control and allows total control of the operation through the latest generation software.

A presentation that made Tecnargilla 2018 highly successful, with a considerable number of visitors from all over the world: in addition to the traditional presence of the domestic market, the Spanish market and, in general, the European market, there were also numerous visitors from more distant areas such as the Middle-Eastern and South-American ones.

In terms of internationality, the American logistics branch of BMR in Crossville, also saw a positive trend in the new made in the USA ceramic district of Tennessee, which proved to be a focal point for direct and fast assistance to US customers.
