BMR consolidates its partnership with Valdi, a successful ceramic tile manufacturer located in Staporkow, in the Polish district of Konskie, which recently opened a new factory capable of producing 4 million square meters per year of top quality porcelain stoneware tiles. The new plant, which has been up and running since the beginning of 2011, utilises BMR machines for the protective treatment of honed porcelain tiles. The leading company in Scandiano (Reggio Emilia, Italy), specialises in end-of-line technologies for the production of ceramic tiles and boasts business relations with Valdi dating back to 2008, year in which the Polish company was founded and when a squaring line for large tiles 120×120 cm was installed, which was integrated the year after with a honing and squaring line. In 2010, BMR was contacted again to supply a strip engraving/breaking line, with grinding and rounding of the skirting board edge, by means of a cascade processing method. The company also supplied a disc-cutting line for ground mosaic pieces and accessory machines, in addition to a waste water recycling system.
