An increasingly digital range for BMR: Squadra Dry Vision turns Digital and implements efficiency, quality and safety.
Squadra Dry is BMR’s flagship dry ortho-squaring technology, which for 10 years has allowed the Scandiano-based company to achieve important technical goals and open new markets. The Vision version, which arrived in 2021, has grafted integrated vision controls onto the system and the addition of inverters for each calibrating motor. This solution guarantees energy, consumption and tool cost savings. All plus points further improved and optimized in the latest evolution: SQUADRA DRY VISION DIGITAL. It is an extremely automatic and engineered solution which, thanks to continuous technological upgrades, embraces the concepts of Smart Factory and Industry 4.0, demonstrating multiple advantages in terms of energy efficiency, reduction of production costs and eco-sustainability. And so the new Dry Vision Team becomes Digital and adds even greater efficiency, quality and safety.
In addition to autonomously controlled spindles through the supervision of a digital eye, BMR has developed a new operator panel in HMI key (an advanced man-machine interface, with an intuitive and accessible touchscreen) and a vision system at the end of processing called Check Vision for intelligent management of the squaring process, with considerable benefits in terms of respect for the environment, energy saving and tool consumption.
In detail, the Squadra Dry Vision Digital is fitted with measuring cameras at each calibrating spindle and with a laser system at the line input and output, as well as with the addition of single inverters for calibrating motors and relative automatic feeds. The system intervenes by making an accurate automatic control of numerous functions and parameters: in this way a higher percentage of first choice production is guaranteed and, consequently, a reduction in labour and process costs, respecting the environment and the standards of eco-sustainability.
The Squadra Dry Vision Digital offers a number of real operational benefits, including:

– Improvement of sustainable working practices: Squadra Dry Vision Digital can improve the use of energy and resources (from 25 to 30% less consumption of grinding wheels), reduce material waste also during size changeovers and even save space.
