BMR GALLERY: THE NEW PRIVILEGED MEETING PLACE FOR CUSTOMERS

23 November 2021 | News | Commercial News

A year after its inauguration, BMR’s showroom registers a constant influx of visitors from Italy and abroad and turns out to be an excellent meeting reference point for trade fairs

A place where technology, innovation and training converge: these are the premises with which the BMR Gallery was inaugurated in September 2020 in Scandiano, and this is exactly what the showroom instituted by BMR, the leading company in the ceramic finishing sector, has achieved today as it continues to be a point of reference for customers and visitors from Italy and all over the world.

We wanted to create this space to respond more effectively to the new needs of the market, which increasingly sees the technological value coincide with functional and aesthetic values – declared Paolo Sassi, president of BMR –. Having a suitable and welcoming meeting place, where you can view the company’s innovations and build personal and professional contacts, is a dream come true. Especially living in a period as insecure and as unexpected as the one caused by the pandemic, this project has given us even more gratification“.

An important achievement and a success therefore for BMR, as can also be seen from the latest international trade fairs such as Cersaie, the main trade fair hosted by Bologna Fiere for the entire ceramic sector, which in September made a good recovery after having had to be cancelled in 2020.

On that particular occasion, the BMR Gallery was instrumental in bringing approximately a hundred buyers from 30-40 Italian and international partners who were visiting the Emilia region to the headquarters of BMR to personally reinforce the entrepreneurial partnerships that the company has with businesses throughout the world.

If the presence of Italian visitors at the headquarters in Scandiano was steady and numerous, equally satisfactory was the number of international visitors from European countries such as Russia, Romania, Poland, Germany, Holland, Spain and the Czech Republic. There were also meetings with some important contacts from outside Europe, such as Brazil, Iran, Mexico and Saudi Arabia.

The visits organized during the days of the Cersaie trade fair were therefore a great opportunity for BMR’s customers to see its innovations first hand. The industry 4.0 developments, with remarkable levels of automation and digitization, met with great success. The camera measuring system presented on Top Squadra Dry demonstrated a very high-performance example of customized productivity, with process optimization in terms of time, cost, versatility and environmental sustainability, a topic BMR has always considered of vital importance.

Again, in this context, there is also the exclusive BMR Digital Twin proprietary software that can create a digital simulation for the ceramic end of line process through full virtualization that integrates all the phases of the line and contributes to the smart management of orders and production.

From fully digitalized squaring to industry 4.0 software, an increased interest has also been seen in the lapping sector due to Supershine, the first dry super-polisher. Here, the expertise of BMR has dominated the scene by developing a new type of treatment, which due to its “dry” technology thermo-mechanical processing, allows the gloss of the tile coming from lapping process to be increased by 20 points or more.
