Top Finishing is a mobile beam polishing machine used in the Sealing process during the Treatment phase in the Polishing and treatment line. Top Finishing is used to treat polished and lapped surfaces by applying a product that seals the pores and increases the surface shine of the tile. At the start of the line there is a distributor fitted with a system that applies protective fluid to each planetary head via a peristaltic pump. The fluid can also be distributed directly from the polishing heads.
